What It Is

Rowing coach is an easy to use speech enabled (US English) program that helps the individual rower achieve thier maximum during a ergometer based workout.  It uses state of the art speech technology, voice recognition and text to speech, combined with animation to provide a dynamic "stroke".  The rower closest to the stern that crosses the finish line last is known as the stroke.  The stroke sets the rhythm for the rest of the rowers.

Requirements

A PC with:

  1. Windows 2000 or latter,
  2. A 1024 by 768 or better display with normal fonts,
  3. Microsoft .NET 1.1 (downloadable for free),
  4. A sound card with speakers and a microphone (or even better a headset),
  5. Microsoft Speech API 5.1 (downloadable for free).
